Unauthorised charges for apps

Good day. I noticed last week, with concern, that R60 has now been added to my bill for Vodafone Live!, being the Sunday Times App. I downloaded the app and started the 3 month free subscription. Before the 3 months expired, I emailed them to cancel this free subscription. I was contacted to inform me that I would not be charged, and that I would formally need to subscribe to the paid service in any case before being billed. I did delete the App from my phone. I am now very surprised that it still reflects on my account, including the premature cancellation quotation.<br>
