Unanswered calls

I had recently lost my phone and I needed to block it in order to give the Police the ITC number, when I arrived at the Vodacom store at Waterfront I explained why I was there and there was a gentleman there assisting me, first of all, the person who helped me basically wasted my time explaining to me that I needed to get a case number in order to block the phone (Does this even make sense?)

A colleague of his came and saw that the system is offline (I wonder if the guy who assisted couldn't figure this out) after wasting my time sitting there and the guy repeatedly scrolling away doing nothing, he eventually told me to call back the next day. I called but no one picked up, I called again today and no one picked up.

What is the point of having a phone in the office/building but no one answers? I mean someone could pick up and at least lie to me and say that they are busy I must call back in 10 or 15 minutes? I mean I was told to call back, what nonsense is this?

This is not the first time I am complaining about this specific Vodacom store. Totally unacceptable service.
