Unacceptable service, frustrated and desperate for any help.

Hallo Peter
The last couple of months has been an eye opener for me with regards to customer service received from Vodacom. I have previously heard people talking about vodacoms bad service and are now forced to join them. I worked for a company for 30 years where customers were your priority but I cannot say the same about Vodacom.
I live in Marina beach on the South coast and always uses the Southcoast malls Vodacom outlet. I have to place on record that the consultants (Chris, Kyle,Jeanita) has really been helpful in trying to help me but can also do that much as the are also relying on their service offices.
My original complaints was send to vodacom on the 15 July 2016. I upgraded in April this year and middle June my phone came up with a error on the sim card and the whatsup not working jumping back to a date of 1January 2015. I took the phone to vodacom who acknowledged the fact that the phone needs to get looked at. A couple of days later my phone was send back and they did a software upgrade. They tested the phone at the shop but it did exactly the same. The consultants again booked the phone in and mentioned they need to replace the phone.
Weeks later and 16 messages later, send to my old phone, that my phone has been send between various departments) I was informed that there is liquid damage.
My question how can they do a software upgrade and then claim something else. Even the consultants at the shop are shocked.
Ref numbers obtained: ********** 5, ********** 2, ********** 8, ********** 4,

During this period I was forced to follow up on my e mail as I received no response. On the 19th July I was told that the e mail addresses I used on the document I received from vodacom when they booked my phone in was incorrect and e mails does not work( Very unprofessional from a company not updating information), I was again inconvenienced.
E mail send to *** who at least took a few seconds to acknowledge the mail but believe you me customer service still non existing.

During the 15 June and middle August many e mails were send between me and vodacom various departments. There are e mails where I was not even addressed om my surname only as Hi. (Again not very professional).

E mails were send to a customer service consultant Elizabeth on the 18th of August and on the 21 August I was forced to send a second request as nobody bothered to reply or even acknowledge my e mail. (Again poor customer service).

I was forced to use my old pink blackberry, which has been replaced due to a faulty batch late last year. I have since tried to activate my biz. The consultants at the shop tried helping but had to contact the service departments ad there is a problem. Vodacom telephone consultant phoned me telling me she has activated something on my phone and biz is now working only to find out that nothing was working after that call. On instruction from the consultant at the shop and another telephone consultant I was requested to reboot and they also did something. Still not working. The telephone consultant was suppose to phone me back but never bothered. A couple of days later I received a sms asking if I was happy with the service received from vodacom, obviously I commented No. I received a computer programmed message that a consultant will contact me within 24 hours, well ..... Nobody again bother to follow up on my query.

My husband has been trying to get attention with regards to my original problem ********** and ********** but had up to date received no response.

I have been very patient and has really respected everyone I have been dealing with but really needs help. I need to know about my original problem whether there is any way vodacom is wiiling to help me either replacing my one and a half month old phone which they had with them did a software upgrade and then after they had my phone for weeks now claiming its water damage. If moisture or. Damp got into my phone it was not intentionally and I did not drop my phone in any water this being the reason why both me and the vodacom consultants feels that it is a faulty phone.
I have been with vodacom for a long time and it this means nothing to vodacom I need to make sure that my biz is correctly activated to avoid any extra costs and furstration. Currently I have no access to e mails, my what's up are not working properly and it would appear that I'm paying unnessary fees and loosing data. I also have dropped calls daily where my blackberry just cuts of and this was what the original blackberry did when they replaced it late last year but now its doing it again as it is the same batch. Please put yourself in my shoes what I have been going through.

This will be the last e mail I'm now sending with regards to my complaint. I am really tired and frustrated with this bad customer service and Im not even sure that I will get a reply to this mail but if you do have time please get me some assistance.
