Unacceptable service from Vodacom

I have an LG G4 with a boot loop defect. It is under warrantee till September 2017 and needs to be fixed by LG. I need a copy of my Vodacom upgrade contract in order to proceed with LG. This is what I have done in order to get it:

Beginning of February 2017 - Went to the store where I did the upgrade and was told I did not do it there. Went to the store next door where I apparently did the upgrade. They told me that they would sort it out. Never heard from them again. Phone them, was told they would sort it out. Never heard from them again.

22 February 2017 – Phone Vodacom customer service. They said that they will sort it out and emailed a reference number to me. I did not hear anything back from them. Phoned several times between the 22nd and mid-March. Every time I was promised that it would get sorted out, but turns out it was empty promises.

14th of March – Phoned customer service and was told I need to send a copy of my ID and letter requesting the copy of contract to ********** Sent my ID and letter to this address. I was told that it would not take longer than 7 work days. No response up to today.

April 2014 – made follow-up phone calls, again with empty promises. Phoned today on the 12th of April. Spoke to someone at customer care and was referred to contracts. Contracts referred me back to customer care, customer care said I must go back to the store where I did the upgrade! Customer care referred me to the legal department who told me I need to send an email to ********** Phoned customer care again to query why I am being told different stories all the time. Customer care referred me to accounts who told me that 3 service requests has been logged on their system, all with no response yet. They weren’t able to help me any further other than sending a follow-up request. Phoned the store where I did the upgrade. They told me that I did indeed do the upgrade there and that they will sort it out. Got a phone call 3 minutes later telling me that I did not do they upgrade there, but at another dealership. They don’t know the name of the dealership, but their dealer ID is 45374. Phone customer care – they can’t tell me who the dealer is or what their contact details are.

This is absolutely pathetic service! I am paying for a phone that I can’t use. The phone has a well-known and acknowledged factory fault. Vodacom isn’t prepared to repair it, it needs to go to LG, but Vodacom isn’t prepared to send me the documentation either. Really unacceptable.

This is an unacceptable response. An appropriate response would be that the copy of my contract is in my email inbox. I do not want a phone call from Vodacom. I have made several calls which resulted in no clear or a copy of the contract.
