Unable to receive sms (incoming)

Good day I got a SIM card from rain they requested to port from vodacom to rain , the port was successfully done , but I later decided to cancel the porting , my number was returned back to vodacom but ever since I have been struggling to receive sms I can only sent sms , and it’s a problem because I am unable to make baking transactions due to lack of opt sms that my be sent to my phon, pls ask someone to assist me. Thanks
