Unable to make international calls

Have been unable to make international calls for more than a week now. After multiple calls on the 3rd, 5th, 7th & 9th December 2022, with call Centre agents trying multiple things and with promises of escalations, today I am advised that I can no longer use + followed be the country code and phone number.

Instead I need to dial 000 or 011 and the Country code! Neither of which actually work.

On the off-chance I tried dialing 00, the country code followed by the number. TaDa that worked.

Other Vodacom users on the same account do not experience the same issue.

Vodacom advises apologies for the inconvenience but that is what you will have to do meaning I can no longer use any of our Global Address books meaning I will have to manually dial and update personal phone book (which will then most likely not work when I am travelling internationally!)
