Unable to get a laptop. But I can have a phone!

So through Incredible Connection I app**** for a Vodacom laptop contract for R349 per month, I filled out the tedious forms, gave over my personal information and waited. Received a call today saying that Vodacom are unable to authorise the laptop, BUT they can authorise a phone contract of the same value. I would love to know what the difference is between paying R349PM for a laptop contract and paying R349PM for a phone contract.<br> <br> PLEASE Vodacom, enlighten us with your superior logic!<br> <br> Sounds like some sort of **** to me.
