Unable to cancel my VodaCom mobile contract

I've found it impossible to cancel my Vodacom mobile contract whilst in SA or abroad.

Whilst in SA (August 2025), I attempted to contact the cancellations department on numerous occasions (to no avail) and visited the local Vodacom branch on several more. I was told that mobile contracts can no longer be cancelled in-store and only through the call centre.

I've since immigrated and have tried the email route which, surprise-suprise, is also not working.

I've come to the conclusion that Vodacom have made it impossible for individuals to cancel their mobile contracts.
