Unable to Cancel Deceased Contract

I've been tring since the 9th of May 2017 to cancel my Mother in law's ( whom passed away) contract. When i phone customer care they softlocked the line after i mailed and sent the Death sertificate and ID copy. Now we want to decide to either buy out the contract and cancel it or do a transfer of ownership. This is impossible to Vodacom to assist me with, when i phone they tell me to phone Cancellation when i phone them they said phone Legal but the trick is you as a customer can only phone legal for 2 reasons 1. If you are a debt collector or 2. if your account is in arrears. I dont have one of the options so when i phone the number i automatically get transferred to customer care and when i explained to them they just transfer me again. So i chose option 1 does not work i need some type of no. option 2 requires ID no so i put in my mothers id number who is deceased - straight to customer care how does that work if its so difficult to pay out a contract for a deceased im going to leave it and then we will see where they get the money from after all has been completed. Its impossible to cancel a contract, you must first stop paying and then you can cancel it. So good luck for everyone who has to go through this if losing someone isnt bad enough you have to struggle with Vodacom aswell.
