UN-Blacklisting of Iphone x with cellphone number ***

On 11/7/25 I thought my Iphone x was ****** and reported it to Vodacom, obtained the ITC number and gave that to my insurer. The same day I found the phone, completed the Un-blacklist request and emailed it to ***. On 14/7/25 a lady by the name of Linda Mkhiza , emailed me from a Vodacom email address requesting me to complete the Form, then email it together with my I.D to her. On 16/7/25 I emailed Linda asking if the un-blacklisting has been completed as one is required to switch off the phone to effect the un-blacklisting. ON the same day I received an email from Linda, " Called *** not available imei *** unblacklisted switch off device for 24hours ITC Reference Number: ***5. Well, the phone was off, and since 11/7/25 I had no signal on the phone, so obviously it will not be available. On the same day I asked Linda "Will you be sending me an email to let me know when I can switch it back on?" On the same day she rep**** "Switch off for 24hours Regards Linda" On the same day I emailed Linda "I did switch it off. And will leave it off until tomorrow at 15h00. Will that be in order?" She rep**** "no problem". On 26/7/25 i sent Linda another email "Hallo linda.

I am beginning to seriously doubt if the unblocking was done effectively. I have had no signal since the unblocking. I did a sim swop hoping that it will sort out the problem, still no luck. Could you please let me know I need to do at your soonest convenience?" On 28/7/25 I sent the same email to ***. No response from anyone. On 29/7/25 I went to Vodacom Store in Wonderpark Shopping Centre, asking them to please email the Form, affadavid and I.D. documents to ***. I was told that the process could take another 14 days. I have not been able to use my phone for 2 weeks and have to wait another 2 weeks. I seriously question the commitment of Vodacom to its customers. It takes one phone call to block it but 2 weeks to unblock it. WHY? When trying to follow up at retail store level, I am asked for a reference number. I was never given a reference number!

Reviewer Update
I upgraded to a new IPHONE 16 from Vodacom online on 22/7/25 It was delivered on 24/7/25, late afternoon. On 25/7/25 I went to purchase all the new cables, chargers and adaptors for the new phone as it differs from the Iphone X. At the same time I tried to retrieve data from Icloud and transfer it to the new Iphone 16. I also attempted to charge the Iphone 16 without being successful. I asked a friend to try and charge the phone, with luck. I phoned Vodacom Customer Care requesting them to collect the new phone as it must be faulty. They told me it will probably be collected the following week Monday or Tuesday. It is now Tuesday 13h45 and now one has contacted me or came to my premises to collected the faulty phone. This contract only commences on 1/8/25 and I am unable to upgrade at retail store level as my profile shows "pending". Not only am I without the new IPhone 16, but also not able to use the old IPhone 10 as it has not been unblacklisted for more than 2 weeks. I am so disappointed with Vodacom, after been a customer for more years than I can remember. Can this be sorted as soon as possible?
