*****ulent Vodacom Contract

A *****ulent contract was opened with my ID number via the Vodacom Online Application channel. There was no FICA information on the application, so the question is how did Vodacom approve this. There was no copy of ID, no bank statements and no proof of address. Are these documents not required to prevent *****? Vodacom handed me over to their collection agents without doing there own investigation as to why the account is in arrears or *****ulent. By simply looking at the account anybody with an IQ of more than 1 would have realized that it was internal *****. Now I have to waist my time to stand in queues at the police station to make an affidavit and waist my money and petrol to phone all the relevant parties and go to the Vodacom shop to sort the out, when Vodacom is the one that allowed this to happen.

This is why I will never use Vodacom as a service provider.
