On 22 January 2024, I was contacted by Vodacom advising that my package is being migrated from 3.6GB to 6GB. The agent advised this would not cost me extra. At the end of the call I again confirmed with him if there would be an extra charge and he said no. On 02 February 2024 I received an invoice from Vodacom stating that my contract amount is now increasing by approximately R200.00 when I was assured the migration would not cost me extra. My first engagement with Vodacom about this was on 02 February 2024, until now NOTHING has been done to resolve this. Whenever I contact Vodacom OI am given the same nonchalant response that they are "working on the query". I was given the option to downgrade back to my original package, however I would still be liable for the extra charge at the end of February which I feel is absolutely ridiculous given the fact that I was misled during the migration process. No one at Vodacom seems to give a damn about getting this resolved. I have been asking for the call to be retrieved, however its over a week and nothing! I even took to X to complain and I am constantly given the same feedback with no positive outcome. I should not be liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of this migration. I need this sorted out TODAY!
