Ugrade hell

I recently ugraded my line through Rewardsco who contacted me telephonically to offer an upgrade. The consultant indicated to me that the upgrade was for a 24 month contract. I asked him if he was sure it's a 24 month contract and he assured me that it was. He also confirmed this when he read back the terms and conditions. And I accepted. This brought about a legally binding contract.

I received the device but then received an sms stating that I was upgraded to a 36 month contract.

I was informed that the only way to correct this, was to send back the device, which I might add was in my preferred colour.

After more than a week and struggling to get the device sent back. I am finally contacted by Vodacom, vut wait for it, they no longer have stock of the phone, they only have it in green.

I had the phone in my hand, but for some reason nobdy at Vodacom can just make a change on my contract on a silly computer...the phone needs to be sent back for me to receive a new phone. This does not make sense at all
