****ty service always!!!!
To whom it may concern
I was ****** infront of my house 31/10/2019 at 9am after taking my son to school. I called Vodacom on the same day to blacklist my phone Huawei Y6 2019. After that I went to open a case and case number received by SAPS 296-10-2019.
Unfortunately, the time when this happened I was unemployed and my account was in arrears and there for I could not submit my claim as I was told the account is in arrears and I need to bring the account up to date which I did in February 2020
I stared working 16/03/2020 which was a week before lockdown. And I was not sure if I was gonna be employed permanently. After I returned to work on 4-05-2020 I signed my permanent employment contract. I then went back to the police station to retrieve the case number as it was lost previously when it was sent to an alternative contact number. The police could only provide me with a case number 4-06-2020 whereby I went to Vodacom store to submit my claim.
On Monday 8-06-2020 I called the insurance department to follow up on my claim and the service I got was utterly disappointing. I spoke to Zoleka and explained my situation. She was not even sympathetic. She gave me feedback from her 'Supervisor' who was not even willing to talk to me.
I called again 9-06-2020 and spoke to Nomvula, I explained my situation again. And when insisting I speak to a supervisor she got very annoyed and even raised her voice. While speaking to Zoleka insisting to speak to her supervisor she put me on hold for more than 7minutes without informing me. Upon her returning to my call she said her supervisor is busy and can not attend to my call and the outcome of the claim is final.
I am a single mother who recently got a job. I have priorities, hence I budget.
The outcome of the claim was that I have until this coming weekend (no specified date) to collect my phone as I claimed late. Should I not collect my phone then the claim would be rejected.
Now I ask you, how am I going to pay access fee if I get paid once a month, of which my budget was already drawn up. I asked for an extension until month end when I can afford to pay access fee and very rudely it was said NO!
Now I don't know who appointed Patricia as a supervisor, but I am disappointed that she disregarded me and not making effort to even hear me out. What about the excellent client service that Vodacom brag about?
I will take this matter as far as I can. And I will start with Hello Peter. This is the last straw from Vodacom. I will not upgrade next year as I will move to a network where I can get proper customer service.
