Two Weeks Later and Still No Fibre Installation

I have received extremely poor service from the Fibre Department. I have been waiting for over two weeks for a technician to contact me and schedule an installation date. During this time, I have called several times each week, only to be told that my ticket has been escalated.

I work from home and have recently moved into a new property, which is why it was essential for my fibre installation to be completed before I moved in. Unfortunately, while the sales process was handled very quickly, there has been no urgency in activating the service.

It is disappointing that the company was quick to secure the sale and will no doubt be quick to deduct the monthly premium, yet has been extremely slow in delivering the service I am paying for.

Based on this experience, I will certainly be considering a different service provider going forward.

Thank you for your response.A consultant did contact me a day later and advised that a technician would call me within a few hours to arrange the fibre installation. Unfortunately, I never received that call.My router was delivered over two weeks ago, yet no one has contacted me to schedule or complete the fibre installation. As I work from home, I re**** on Vodacom’s commitment to a prompt installation, but the delays have been extremely disappointing. As a result, I have had to spend a significant amount on mobile data to remain connected and continue working. Given the lack of communication and progress on my installation, I am seriously considering cancelling my application and moving to a different service provider.I would appreciate urgent feedback and a firm installation date

Title: Three Weeks Later and Still No Fibre Installation – Ongoing Poor Service It has now been almost three weeks since I signed up for fibre, and despite multiple follow-ups, the installation has still not been scheduled. Since my previous review four days ago, I have once again been given promises that the matter has been escalated, yet there has been no meaningful progress, no confirmed installation date, and no contact from a technician. I work from home and specifically arranged for fibre to be installed before moving into my new property. Unfortunately, what should be a straightforward process has turned into a frustrating experience filled with delays, unanswered questions, and empty promises. What I find most disappointing is that the sales process was completed extremely quickly, and I have no doubt that the monthly premiums will be deducted without delay. However, when it comes to delivering the service that I am paying for, there appears to be no urgency whatsoever. At this point, I am left wondering: how difficult is it to simply schedule a fibre installation? After nearly three weeks, this should not still be an unresolved issue. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from the Fibre Department has been unacceptable. Unless this matter is resolved urgently, I will seriously reconsider my decision to use Vodacom and will be exploring alternative service providers. I would appreciate immediate intervention from a manager who can provide a firm installation date rather than another escalation reference.
