Two of the biggest ********* in cahoots!!!
Two of the biggest ********* in cahoots!!!! The infamous Vodacom and their equally *********** debt collectors VVM.... IT'S HARD TO UNDERSTAND WHY HASN'T THERE BEEN A LEGAL INSTITUTION TO PUT AN END TO THESE TWO PATHETIC EXCUSES FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS.... I have been told by Vodacom two weeks ago that my account was deleted last year, when in fact it was operational until 2 weeks ago. I was advised further that they have 2 systems which they clearly can't use and the one shows that I have been on prepaid contact whilst the other shows that I am on normal contract but have 2 numbers, which is also incorrect... I have been receiving zero balance statements for the past few months, which the Vodacom representative at head office could not explain initially, until he was given some other nonsense story by Vodacom legal to try and cover themselves. I have never received a statement or letter of demand, but yet I was at pre legal. When I requested to speak to someone at the legal department, I was told I had to go to the head office in Century City. When I went to Century City I was not allowed to speak to anyone at legal again, but had to explain my whole ordeal to a "walk in" representative. Who after "thorough" investigation advised me that I can only speak to their external legal representatives, VVM, who are not in fact legal representatives but mere debt collectors, as the matter had overnight, while I am trying to resolve it with Vodacom, been handed over to "legal". In the mean time, as my number had been deleted with no warning or notice, VVM saw it fit, despite privacy laws and confidentiality policies, to message random people on my contact list with all my details and demanding payment on my Vodacom account!!! Clearly they have also never heard of POPI or the Constitution, but they are Vodacom's external legal representatives... Where does one begin to deal with all the legal transgressions between these two organizations??? On top of everything I was advised today by competant and knowledgeable VVM employee that I must pay R8k, despite being advised by Vodacom it is R2k and that I am already blacklisted! Clearly they have also never heard of the CPA and due notice prior blacklisting, but they are Vodacom's legal advisors!!! What was the cherry on top of the cake was when I was contacted by one of Vodacom's competant customer care managers, who was not interested in my complaint, but rather to tell me what he had to say, and when I asked if "they" ever listen to their clients he shouted out "NO"... need I say more.... Vodacom's moto is clearly - pay and don't dare ask or expect any services in return! Why are they still in business????? Because no one has the time, nervous system or manpower to fight them I guess... ******* and ****s that are allowed to abuse and prey on their clients!!! I need a complaint reference number in order to report the matter to ICASA, National Consumer Commission and office of the Credit Ombudsman, but Vodacom won't even give that... I guess I will just have to explain to these institutions that I can't obtain one and need their assistance even for that!!! As for VVM the Counsel for Debt Collectors is first step, but definitely not the last. I hope this helps anyone who is faced with a similar ordeal and I am sure there are plenty.
