Turaround Time Lies and very unhelpfull staff

My Fibre internet went down on Wednesday at about 1 pm,

When I first called the call centre on Wednesday the very unhelpful lady just shrugged off my complaint and said it was an area outage. I contacted my neighbour who was still online, so I called Metro Fibre who confirmed there was no area outage.

I called Vodacom back who said they created a ticket and said it will take 24-48 hours.

I called the call centre yesterday for an update and a lady named Cindy said a technician had been allocated and that she would phone me back with more info.

When I called Metrofibre today they say they only received a ticket yesterday afternoon and have only now assigned a technician, they have now told me it is going to take 24 - 48 hours from now!! (Great knowing we are going into the weekend)

I then called Vodacom back this morning and spoke to a lady named Ntsoaqki who said she would call me back by 12pm. It is now 12:30 and still no call. No surprise.. (I even laughed when she said she would call me back.. I know better now..)

The service is shocking, Vodacom Fibre needs to be more honest about their turnaround times and stop promising they will call back when as with previous experience, they never do.

Are they going to refund me for the downtime and the money I now have to spend on Data??
