Trying to Upgrade But Call Centre ***********!

Last week I spent over an hour on the telephone with a very competent individual called Webster who assisted me with the upgrading of three mobile devices and the cancellation of one. He was great! Since then I have been trying to find out what is happening and where the devices are. Several attempts to speak to a competent person at ********** have proved futile. Yesterday I eventually put the call down as the person could not converse in English. I then received a text asking me to evaluate the service which I did but obviously have not received a response. Then today I call and the individual also does not have a good grasp of comprehension - i.e. does not understand what I am saying! I ask to speak to a supervisor and am placed on hold and end up having to evaluate the service. Naturally I chose the lowest possible level.

The basic issue is that apparently someone called me to confirm the details for the upgrade and I was not available - I was obviously in a meeting! No-one called back. I explained that I run a business and am often not available so surely there was some other way to resolve this impasse. I was then told that I must give a time that I can be called. I asked the person to confirm that if I gave a time tomorrow that someone would definitely call me - she says - no, that is not what she is saying - she is saying I must give a time that I am available. Seriously?!

How on earth do I get the upgrade validated or whatever it is that Vodacom needs to do! We are a week down the line and the thought of having to call the call centre with people who do not understand English is just too much!

Help! Vodacom!!! Help!
