Try cancelling your contract - what a joke and run about

I have been trying cancel my contract which has expired and migrated on a month to month basis. The number has been ported to another network for more than a month already and I am left to foot the bill for a number which is no longer on the Vodacom network.

This is nothing short of legalized theft. Further to, you are unable to submit anything in writing as proof of the request to cancel as Vodacom has conveniently removed the e-mail address and replaced it with the call center number, where you get span a story about old systems and new system and the fairy tales go on.
