Truly surreal customer experience

A truly surreal customer service shocker. NEVER support this store! Try to hand in my phone for repairs, only to be told the repair staff member will not be there for an hour (middle of operating hours). Then told there are no loaner phones. Nearly a week later the online job status still says the quote needs accepting (this was long since sorted). So I ask my partner to call (as I have no phone) - the feedback is there is a system issue, they will call back by end of day to let us know when it will be ready. No call by 17:30. Contrastingly, an email comes through to say ready for pick up?? We, naively, again drive through after work (arrive 6pm; store hours for the Vodacom REPAIR shop are until 19:00). Told AGAIN the repair staff member is gone already. “Nothing we can do.” I ask to see the staff member in charge to see what can be done. Made to wait 30Mins while she is dealing with customers, but there are multiple staff members doing nothing who were able to relieve her). Forced to leave without resolution as it was closing time. Absolutely unbelievable.
