******* on Vodacom Upgrade

I was contacted by a Vodacom tele-marketer. We had a very nice conversation that is turning out to be a nightmare for me. She started the conversation by explaining to me that she have looked (Done a review) into my account and have a suggestion that will save me money on my fixed costs and that I would also have more benefits. Later she started talking about avg costs etc. (which means she looked at my account over a term/few months) • I was already on an unlimited voice contract so she basically offered me 10GiG data extra. • For this I’m now paying R300 a month extra (which I don’t need or use) As she called me out of the blue. I wasn’t sitting with my Vodacom account in front of me. But she obviously had all of my info in front of her. What I however didn’t know is that she only looked at my last month’s account, from when I was overseas for a week and the higher contract won’t save me anything even on this. So she didn’t give me correct advice like I thought she would as this is her job. I started this account in April 2019 and April, May, June, July, August my highest account was R2604.69. Now I’m on R2900.00 minimum. So what she sold to me was not to my benefit. I’ve been a loyal client of Vodacom for many many years and I feel *******. They now say I can go back to my old contract subscription but need to pay R2600 for this transaction to be reversed. I please want my contract same as before and refunded the extra costs incurred, without paying the cancelation or reversal fee. . This is for sure the last time I will ever ever ever agree anything over the phone. I even had to take time of work to go listen to my voice recording. And Vodacom keep saying I agreed to the T&C, but they don't listen to what the lady sold to me from the start. Now my Vodacom agent and myself had send like 4 emails but we don't get any response.
