Treating customers unfairly

In August 2016 I have done an upgrade with an iPHONE 5 at Vodacom Fourways Mall for my daughter IME ********** ********** . In December 2016 the phone was not no more working I took it in for repairs. The consultants at Fourways Vodacom Repairs shop refused to book in the phone since an Apple ID and password were required and my daughter seemed to have forgotten them. I was told to go Apple iStore to get an Apple ID and password reset, they couldn't help either, and they told me that I must call Apple Support. I did call them, I was told this issue will be resolved within 7 working days after I have uploaded the proof of purchase, which I did but the matter was not resolved. I followed up over and over, no joy, each time I call I was told to upload the proof of purchase. I went back where I took the contract Vodacom shop, a guy by the name of Abel was also told to resend the proof of purchase again to Apple, still no joy. I called Vodacom call centre for help, they said they can’t help me. From the 2 institutions (Vodacom and Apple) no one can help me unlock the phone this is the 5th month without the phone however I am paying Vodacom every month for the phone (device) and data (service) which I cannot put to use. Soon the warranty of that phone will expire as it requires repairs. In the nutshell I am just giving money every month to Vodacom for free, it’s unfair for me as the customer. Please assist this is not right, I have nowhere else to go, the phone needs repairs Vodacom refuses to book it in because Apple ID on the other Apple has all necessary documents but they don’t unlock the phone.
