Totally dissatisfied customer

I have been with vodacom for about 8 years and I am having trouble with the fact that I took 2 early upgrades, one about 4 years ago and one 2 years ago. I was told that I needed to pay my handsets off which I did but I was never told that I would still keep my contract period??? I have a phone which is almost 2 years old and almost no usable aso with electronics 2 years is a bit much. I kept my mind set on upgrading in October as this is when it would be 2 years only to find that my upgrade date is September 2017...A whole year more and the reason for this is that I did 2 early upgrades and I still kept my term. I called in 2 months ago and tried to explain my situation and was never assisted as I was promised that someone would get back to me. About 2 weeks ago I called in again to the cancellations department and after a week of being promised that they would make a "plan" for me the consultant told me that they made a note on the system and I could go into any branch and do my upgrade only to find that there was nothing on the system...how embarrassing and a wast of time!!! I mailed and tried to phone the person with no response or luck in getting hold of them. This is very upsetting and I currently have about 9 lines with vodacom, spend almost 5k a month with them only to get pathetic service like this. I have said that I will be cancelling all contracts as they come up and only then probably I will get a call to ask why??? I am totally dissatisfied and my question with this whole thing is that if I am keeping my term where are my free minutes etc from my original contract which I did my early upgrades with? I feel that vodacom are a bunch of ****** and that's why nobody can explain or assist me with this issue as they know it's a ****!!!

Dear Client
I liased with the Retentions Team and they confirmed the following:
The contract period is not extended from the date the premature upgrade is processed, but from your termination/expiry date. Thus, your new contract term will start when the old term expires. If an upgrade is done on the 22nd month of the contract, the remaining months continues before the new term starts.
This is mentioned in the terms and conditions of the contract. While I would like to be of more assistance, I am unable to change the dates for you.
