Totally disgusting treatment by Vodacom's Call Centre Agents
I am fuming, I seem to have the worst luck with Vodacom. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I have contacted Vodacom so much that the Call Centre message says that I have reached my limit in calls made to the Call Centre and I can try calling on 2 April 2019. I transferred a Pre- Paid Vodacom cellphone number to a contract. The Consultant Celiwe gave me an extra Gig of Data and included Call Identity. I was so impressed that I said to her that I am busy doing a transfer of ownership on my contract she said she would assist me with my upgrade once the Transfer of ownership had been successful. The transfer of ownership was processed and I called Vodacom's sales team and requested to speak to Celiwe again. I called about 4 times and left messages and when I finally got hold of Celiwe she said she only received my last message I left. I requested her to assist me again with my Upgrade as I wanted the exact same contract that I got the previous day. I confirmed over the recorded line that I was due for an upgrade as at 3 March 2019. I was on the phone with Celiwe for about 20 minutes. She confirmed that she proceeded to process my upgrade and I also confirmed that the total amount that I would be paying was an amount of R499.00. She confirmed that the amount going forward would be R499.00. Celiwe also confirmed that there was no stock of the Hawei P20 Lite in Blue but that they receive new stock every Friday and Monday. She confirmed that I should receive my Phone after the Monday latest. I then received a call from Vodacom Head Office that afternoon. The Consultant said that I am liable for 4 months for the Handset I currently have as my Contract only ends in July 2019. This was never disclosed to me by Celiwe. In my conversation with Celiwe she only ever confirmed that the total amount was R499.00. I requested the Consultant that callex me from Vodacom's Head Office to please pull the calls and escalate this matter urgently as my Phone that I am currently using is giving me so many issues. She said she would escalate the matter. This all happened on 4 March 2019. I kept phoning the Call Centre as I hadnt received any feedback. Eventually I got hold of Celiwe's Team Leader, Philiwe confirmed that they will pull the calls. Philiwe called me back a few days later and spoke to me so badly, I was totally disgusted. She said that there is nothing that they can do I have to pay for the Handset for the next 4 months. I requested that she please put me through to her Manager and she proceeded to put the call down in my ear. I requested the copies of the calls and to date no recordings have been given. Today is 15 March 2019 and there is still no resolution to my escalated query. The new contract I took out with the extra complimentary Gig of data and the call identity also has a issue as the identity call hasnt been loaded so all calls come through as an unknown number. I have been with Vodacom since I was 16 years old, I am now 34.
I am so desperate for these issues to be resolved
