Title: Vodacom – Masters of Confusion, Silence, and Wasting Time

Wow, Vodacom. Just... wow. I genuinely didn’t think it was possible for a company to be this consistently useless, but here we are. You’ve really outdone yourselves.

I tried to upgrade to a new phone — silly me, I believed your website when it said I qualified. Clearly, I forgot that nothing Vodacom says actually means anything. When I clicked to check out, the system crumbled like a house of cards in a hurricane. Errors, dead ends, and pure chaos — it's almost like you built the site to frustrate customers on purpose. If so, bravo. Mission accomplished.

So, I did the logical thing and called customer service. Spoiler alert: that was a mistake. I spent three mind-numbing hours on the phone, spoke to eight different people (each more clueless than the last), and still got absolutely nowhere. It felt like a game show called “How Fast Can We Waste Your Time?” and I was the unwilling contestant.

And now? You’ve started calling me and my mom six times — and when we answer, surprise! Dead silence. Not even the courtesy of a robot voice. Just… nothing. Are you running a phone company or testing how much harassment a person can take before losing their mind?

After 35 YEARS of loyalty, this is how you treat us? Incredible. Honestly, I’m impressed. Most companies would have to try really hard to be this bad. But you? You make it look effortless.

So thank you, Vodacom, for reminding me that loyalty means absolutely nothing to you, and that customer service is clearly just a myth you use for marketing. If anyone asks me who to avoid like the plague — guess whose name will be the first out of my mouth?
