TIRED OF THE CHASE
I took out a 2 (Two) year contract on a rose gold Iphone 7 during or about November 2016, on or about 20 September 2018, I received a debit on my account of an amount which was not my usual debit order. On same, I contacted the Absa ***** Line on order to enquire about the said amount being debited from my account. They advised to call Vodacom as it appears to be a debit order. On or about 21 September 2018, I attended to a telecom with a representative of your offices, to enquire about the above mentioned amount. I was advised that an additional contract was **********ly taken out under my account and was authorised by a representative of Vodacom, of which the details are as follows:
Number: ********** Store: Nelson Mandela Square Phone: Iphone X Sliver Amount p/m: R1000 (One Thousand Rand) Date: 15 September 2018
On or about 30 September 2018, I received my invoice which was not the usual amount I pay , which was subsequently withdrawn from my account. On or about 30 October 2018, I received my invoice with the total amount due being which included the ********** line , which was duly withdrawn from my account. In respect of the above I paid various amounts which I was not supposed to pay after raising the matter with Vodacom. On or about 02 January 2019, I received a text message stated that that I have upgraded my line. Subsequent to that text message, I received another text message stating that I have chosen a uChoose Flexi 200. I immediately proceeded to a telecon with Vodacom Customer Care and enquired about my account. The representative, Martha, informed me that an Iphone XS Max was **********ly taken out as an upgrade authorised by a representative of Vodacom, on or about 05 December 2018.
As a result of the above, I have paid various amounts which i was not supposed to pay due to the ********** lines being taken out.
I sent my final affidavit to vodacom stating the about on or about 03 January 2019. on or about 21 January 2019, I followed up with the ***** department, which I was advised that the ***** investigations were concluded on or about 15 January 2019. I would like to say that no one contacted me in order to provide me with this information, I had to follow up with Vodacom as the client.
A day subsequent to the above, I got an email notifying me that my phone was on soft lock. I spent a good 30 minutes of my time in order to sort this out and they advised that there is a credit on my account, however there is an outstanding balance of R14 660 (approximately). After thoroughly explaining about the ***** which occurred they told me they would unlock my phone which they did.
Two days later, my phone was on soft lock yet again.
I am truly tired of this and wasting my time with 30 minutes calls to VC in order to get my phone unlocked. VC should attend to resolving this as if it happens again, I am going to lose it.
I am disappointed in the way VC dealt with the above as when the first ***** was raised, my account should have been flagged and I should have been kept in the loop with what was currently happening in my investigation.
I have been a loyal customer of VC from as long as I can remember, and due to the above you have lost a loyal customer.
