Time wasting effort at Vodashop Cresta (lower level)

<p>I've been ****** of my cell phone and thought that everything is ok as I have ensurance with cellsure at Vodashop Cresta. They issued me with a similar I-phone and claimed that I can bring it back if it gives any problems within 7 days. So on day 2 the screen of my brand new phone froze for almost 2 hours. I returned it whereafter Tony (employee) said he will phone me when they have a result. After 7 days I went back to the shop just to find out they never looked at my phone because it had a pass code on. They did not bother to phone me asking for the pass code. I asked to speak to the manager to ask for a new phone as I waited so long. I even said I would take a refund and buy a new one to which he rep**** it is not possible (also not taking responsibility for what happened). So, I had to waite once again. Today I phoned again (it has almost been 2 weeks now), just to find out that the phone froze due to a software update that has not been done. This is the very first time I hear that a new iPhone will freez due to a software update, and if that is the case, the shop should ask you to update the software. After the trauma of my phone being ****** this is the last way any customer would like to be treated. I am intensly disappointed in Vodacom who I have supported for the past 15 years now. </p>
