Time to port my number to another cellphone service provider
I went onto Vodacom's online shop this morning to upgrade my contract and purchase a new Blackberry KeyONE Black cellphone. Whilst online, I received a reference number 2AR OM7 and a message that stated that I would get an sms and an email confirming my order and that a Vodacom representative would call me to confirm delivery. I did not get the sms or the email and called Vodacom's online shop. The person I spoke with advised me that they had not received my order. When I then gave her my ID number, she told me that I have to go into a Vodacom shop to upgrade my contract. On calling a Vodacom shop close to where I live, they advised me that they don't have stock of the phone I want. What is the purpose of your online store if you then get told to go into a Vodacom Shop. I'm so tired of the problems with Vodacom that I think it's time to port my number to another cellphone service provider.
I also have a voice recording of my discussion with the Vodacom call centre agent
