Threatening phone call to BLACKLIST handset
My Sony Z3 handset was send for repairs many months ago via Vodacom Repair Centre Canal Walk. After an exorbitant amount was quoted, I declined to repair the handset. I was offered a 'better deal and more feedback'. After more than a month and more than three weeks without any feedback, I complained regarding lack of service. I was contacted by a VC rep after VC received my complaint from HP. After an apology, I was informed that the issue has been escalated and that I will receive feedback regarding the repair and return of my handset. I was assured no costs due. I received sms communication after this re the repair and quality checks on my handset from Vodacom and was phoned by Canal Walk to collect my repaired handset. Upon my arival, the handset was located on the system, and I was asked to verify that the hanset was repaired satisfactory. I confirmed that I was happy. I was then asked to settle the 'account' for the repair?? I made it clear that I did not agree to any repairs or any quotes, I actually clearly declined any repairs and costs incurred. I was allowed to leave with my hanset. This morning I was threatened to pay for repairs or face a BLACKLISTING of the handset??
