this is what happens if Vodacom phones and you ANSWER ....................

So I was phoned on the 20th of May by Vodacom, and was told they analized my monthly bill (was on a smart L contract of R529 pm, 250min, 500sms,500mb ) and I am overspending on minutes and data every month. So if I do an upgrade to R750 per month, I will receive 300min, 3 GIG of data and dont know how many sms (whoever uses them !?!?!?) So now this sounded FANTASTIC !!!! I recently left Cell C for Vodacom, and WOW this was unbelievable................ I thought.

So June began, and I went on using data and minutes like normal, this new deal will last me forever, no need to worry about anything again. The lady also clearly said that I will never ever pay more than R750 in the future.

On the 15th (MIDDLE OF THE FrEEKIN MONTH) I suddenly had no data, no minutes , no smmses no NOTHING !?!?!?

So after I phoned in, they told me I migrated to U choose flexi R750 - which means you have R750 airtime - and whenever you touch your phone to make a call or use data your R750 just gets used up - probably by 3x the normal rates - by the speed of light !!!!!

OK so now I was furious cause that was not what I understood !!!! Or what the lady said. Now I went in to the Vodashop , phoned Customer care and they said I cannot cancel this **** within 3 months !!!!! THe very nice friendly lady at the VOdashop try to help me and said I can cancel it but there is a penalty fee of R655 !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

So these 2 ladies started arguing over the phone about the 3 months cancellation issue and of course the one on the other side just hung up ........ just like they hung up when I asked to speak to an Afrikaans consultant.

So .... model of the story ....... these days if you speak to anyone on the phone and agree to anything its the same as a contract ..... its a verbal contract ! I now have to wait a further 2-5 working days to see if Vodacom will phone me back to help after a call has been logged.

I was betrayed, **** to and am now stuck with no nothing, just a ****** Penalty fee of R655 -

Thank you Vodacom !! You just made my day !!!!
