Think viral video

Good day

I am a regular person with a cellphone bill that exceeds R40 000.
I upgraded to a Red VIP package a few months ago and thought it to be the best option for me. I was under the impression that I have 15 GB per month as this is what I received the first month. My data did not deplete and I received no warning that my bundle ran out.

I realize that you all have your asses covered in the legal department and that I probably signed somewhere to agree to exploitation like this.

But here is my question:

1) HOW is it ok to bill someone the equivalent of a year's education for 10GB of data???

2) HOW is it ok to be the MOST expensive in the WORLD when it comes to data costs?

3) HOW is it ok to charge 1000% more for something that you charge much less for somewhere else.

Is there no ethical or moral responsibility that a HUGE company like Vodacom has towards fair and just rates???

Make us pay more for out of bundle rates if you have to, but be reasonable! How do you justify what you are charging? And make it easier to manage. Help us. Do not exploit and trick us. Or is this exactly where the most profit is made??? And just for the record I could not purchase a data bundle because 'my number is not registered for the service'. So basically I have no choice than to pay your ridiculous rates or have no internet connection to run my business with. (Which is a production company - think viral video) How does that comply with the consumer protection act?

I have a disabled child that needs therapy and care. By charging the rates that you do and by passively standing by and looking on while innocent people step into the snares of your supposedly unlimited packages, you will be taking the money off of our plates and putting it into your enormous greedy pockets and you will be robbing someone of a better life and future.

How does that 'change things for the better' quoting your Vision statement.

Regards,

Jana Nieuwenhuizen
