Thieving vodacom holds me hostage ....

I have been a loyal vodacom customer for over 10 years. I have 4 contracts linked to name. In all that time I had never been in arrears.

Towards the end of last year my cell phone bill began to esculate dramatically. On investigation I discovered that the data bundles which I had been purchasing were not being loaded to my account and in turn I was being charged out of rate data fees. The call centre initially admitted to the error and passed a credit to my account, but the problem continued there after. They then became reluctant to pass any further credits even though there was clearly some problem.

I had by this point begun to take screen shots of all purchased data bundles and was monitoring my usage very carefully. My problem was esculated to the resolutions department. I recieved a very generic response from a Jason, stating that I had infact used the data had been used. I never disputed the fact that the data was used, but merely the fact that I was purchasing bundles that were not being loaded and then being penalized with out of rate charges. I rep**** this to Jason with a dossier of my collated evidence....I am yet to receive a reply.

It almost a year later, and still there has no furtrher progress. I keep being told that the complaint has been closed, but yet I receive no feed back. I have had to reload my dispute with four different reference numbers. I have a whole page of names of people I have dealt with in order to get this sorted out.

All of my lines get sporadically cut, even though I continue to pay the undisputed amounts. I can not cancel my line nor upgrade ANY of my lines as the it shows the account to be in arrears, even though they can see that I have a dispute query of which THEY are not attending to. They know that as soon as I am able I will cancel and move to a different provider. I am being held hostage in a contract which I no longer to choose to be in and inconvienianced dramatically.

My lines have once again been cut, only to be told that they no longer can re activate a line with an open dispute. So what I am to do now...be stuck while vodacom refuses to attend to my query.

I can tell that there is some falg my account, from the suspect behaviour by the call centre.

I have continued to update my dossier of evidence with each discussion.

I feel like this form of ******ion, that I am being bul**** into paying an amount which IS NOT DUE to vodacom. I have to ask myself how many other vodacom clients are having money ****** from them and then being held ransom to pay?

Dear Vodacom

I appreciate your response, but I am still sitting with in active lines, nor have I been contacted yet. I have been waiting since Novemeber 2016 for some one to contact me, never happens. The only time I ever speak to a consultant is when I have infact phoned the call centre. My business is being severely affected, my children can not communicate with me during the day.... I doubt any sincerity in attending to my complaint.
