******* and scoundrels run this company

<p>Yesterday I found out that Vodacom had farmed all my account details to a company I never gave consent to. This company, Elite Mobile, had my bank account number, my residential address, my email and work address. my identity number. What gave Vodacom the right to do this without first checking with me? I will be approaching the Ombudsman with regards to this as I want a full investigation. </p> <p> </p> <p>Over the last year despite repeated efforts to get them to institute a data block on my account and I am now fed up. I had to cancel my medical insurance because every month my cell phone bill was sitting upwards of R2000-R3000 rand. I can not afford that kind of cell phone bill every month especially when I hardly call anyone and I have wi-fi at home to browse the internet so I can not understand why I am sitting with such high cell phone bills. I asked for an investigation but they came back and said I had used it. I have a demanding and busy job so I don't have time to sit on the internet all day on my phone. Despite even turning off cellular data I was still sitting with these high accounts. This has literally gone on for a year. I have a friend who runs her own business and is on her phone daily and her account never goes over R1500 and that is running a business off the phone.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am now canceling my contract with Vodacom, and I advise anybody else who contracts through Vodacom to do the same since they have no regard for your personal and private information. I will never have a thing to do with this toxic company and I will be a mouthpiece in persuading people to leave this company services. One voice will soon turn into hundreds of little voices.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is ********** what they are doing with our private information and they are ******* robbing us blind.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
