I am a pensioner but not one you think you are going to take for a ride. Been a Vodacom customer for as long as I can remember. Had one contract on my phone ( no free phone ) where I paid R109 pm for 150 min airtime. Contract expired Feb 2017. Had another contract for my email for 2G + 2G monthly data. Contract expired May 2017. Got a call from Vodacom to renew these contracts and when I told him I didn't want to and wanted to go pay as you go. He became rude and obnoxious and put the phone down on me. The following month I noticed my cell bill increased to R 154 pm for 150 min airtime. Email bill remained unchanged. Continued to pay the accounts until Nov 2017 by when I had accumulated R500.00 airtime on my phone ( which I had paid for ) and R4G+2G on my email ( which I had paid for ). I decided to stop paying monthly "subs"In Dec 2017 until I had utilised my accumulated credit. Guess what these ******* have now done. Suspended my cell and email services. My accumulated paid credit has disappeared and they keep billing me monthly for a service I don't have. I am appalled by their actions, am leaving things as they are, made alternative arrangements for talk time and email. I OWE YOU NOTHING VODACOM. YOU OWE ME. *******.
