They haven't heard of Wi-Fi calling

Wi-Fi calling, and Vodacom specifically, has been written about and advertised for more than a year. I went into Vodacom in Hout Bay yesterday to ask about it (I know you have to have the newest Samsung phone). Was told they don't know anything about it - doesn't exist. Went next door to Cell C and they were very helpful. What is it with Vodacom? I have been on contract with Vodacom for decades - for over 8 years I have been living in an area where I get NO coverage, not even one bar - just a cross where the bars should show up. Hout Bay is crime-ridden and dangerous and if my telephone line is cut I have no way of contacting the emergency services. I would be very willing to enter into a new contract for Wi-Fi calling for much more than my existing one, but have been fobbed off again. I have been told by the helpline that I have to pay Vodacom to get out of my contract (which is useless to me in any case). Vodacom, please let me know if your wi-fi calling does indeed exist, as advertised, or that you really don't want an ongoing customer.
