THEFT!!! TO CHARGE R100 TO REMOVE A PIN FROM A SIM (ROUTER)
Router had "no internet" and after all trouble shooting attempts, suspect something wrong with the SIM card. Instead of phoning call centre, took it to an outlet (Cradlestone Mall). The employee there took out the SIM card and put it in a handset - asked me what is my PIN which I did not know since I never used device with a PIN. Then asked me the phone number for the SIM; went to a terminal in the shop, reinstall SIM in my router and "walla"...fixed. He then insisted that I pay R100.00 for Vodacom's assistance to something which I am not able to fix because he removed the PIN from the SIM on the Vodacom terminal. I found this to be RIDICULOUS and definitely THEFT. There are no damages or anything whatsoever on my device or SIM. I insist that I get my money back. Vodacom, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
