Theft of Data

My Data stick was on a contract that expired 31/08/2016. It was always re-loaded with 2Gig of date on the 1st of every month, data lasting until midnight on the last day of every month. My data stick still had 1Gig of data left on it when they decided to cut it off midnight 30/08/16! They say that's the way they do it! Blatant theft. Tried to talk to two people that could not help, they put me through to a call on hold for longer than 5 minutes.

A consultant did contact me and said Vodacom will give me 1 Gig of data in good faith? This they did give, although only valid for one day, great help! On top of that you can’t even use the data for the one day because the sim card has been cut off due to the contract going from a contract to pre paid! You have to Rica it because Vodacom has cut it off! So the data they gave for one day is useless! They don’t even tell you to go and Rica the Sim again. Never mind the hassle to try and find a branch to Rica, on their store locater the branches nearest me are no longer Vodacom and can’t do it even though they are still on Vodacom's site, and new shops close to me that could do it, are not even on the store locater.

Really “GOOD FAITH” thanks for nothing.
