Theft, denial, promises, silence (pick your choice)

Vodacom has cost me hundreds of rands since I started noticing August 2016. Initially it was very hard to put my finger on it, because prepaid subscribers don't get proper statements and you pay a fortune for one that contains little useful information and no running balance, which leaves you in the dark. You can use the app and you can retriev your balances 5 times a day or more, but they won't always be accurate and they won't even always correspond, Now, I have evidence that a. their balances are often incorrect, that b. they don't always assign the data you've purchased on the date requested and conveniently take your airtime when you browse, c. they don't always use the data you bought first before using the data you've bought last, and d., for some reason they start using your airtime (which you've purchased the last day of the month in order to fund three months of recurring data) before the day has passed, leaving your airtime balance depleted wih no data allocated either. It is a devious circle of deceit. They would tell you your APN settings is correct, next one will tell you you need to set your phone's mobile connection on something slower, some insist that you've used up your data and where you should check (although I know whwere) and when I tell them or show them in-store that my phone has recorded less than 10% of the missing airtime, they don't have an anser and log a new call. I have dates and reference numbers, SMSs and screenshots galore.

I have been a loyal Vodacom customer since 1997 and I cannot accept this treatment. I already a week ago ported my one number (a 082 number from 1999) to a competitor which I've used between 2012 and 2014 and I am still happy. My last data bundle, which I could not use because of how they consume my bundles, expires 3 March 2017 and I am porting that number too.

Best is, they are doing the same to my parents who are pensioners, live and hour from the nearest Vodashop, and rely on family and friends to be taken to George for business like this. They are not tech savvy and hardly know how to keep their own SMSs and screenshots.

I hope you burn all 12 your thumbs, Vodacom.
