The worst service for Loyal customers!
I've been a loyal customer with Vodacom since 2008, I have 4 contracts with them, today when I wanted to upgrade 2 of my contracts that are due, at Makro, I was told that I can't because Vodacom has not marked my Finance Deal indicator. The Contracts I wanted to upgrade to, are less each month than what I'm currently paying. I was told by Makro personal to phone Vodacom. I phoned from my cellphone and was told my account is in excellent standing, and I can proceed with the upgrade - the consultant from Vodacom even spoke to the salesperson at Makro to confirm that they can proceed. Next, I was told by the salesperson @ Makro that because I have something on Debt Restructuring, They had to log a case with Vodacom to mark the Finance Deal indicator. I was told by Lerato from Makro that it takes 1-4 hours for Vodacom to respond. An Hour later the status on my phone showed - case closed - I phoned Makro - Lerato again to find out if I can come back and proceed with the upgrade. I was then told to log a dispute with Vodacom as they rejected my upgrade - I can't upgrade if I'm doing Debt Restructuring - even if my Vodacom account is not part of my Debt Restructuring and even if I have managed my account and I'm not in debt with Vodacom. It is the first time I hear **** like this - I've upgraded all my other contracts on all networks before without any problem. I can upgrade with "Vodacom upgrade department" over the phone - but not at a Makro store??? AND I'm not allowed an upgrade to a Cheaper top-up contract at Makro? I seriously think I should just reconsider my business with both Vodacom and Makro. The service of both just showed me that there is NO MILE - NEVER MIND AN EXTRA ONE!
