The Worst Online Service.

I have been a loyal customer with Vodacom for 19 years, and never had I ever thought that 2022 would be the worst year to do business with them. This is now the second incident this year and I have had enough.

I took out a new contract online for the first time. An Alcatel HH72 Router with a 65” Samsung UHD TV. Never once have Vodacom communicated to status of the application. I had to constantly phone.

On Monday the 21st of November 2022 we finally received the package, a box that had to contain the router and a voucher with instructions of where to obtain the TV, the router was there but not the voucher for the TV. I phone *** and no one answered. I drove to Vodacom Menlyn with with hope that they will be able to assist me, but told me since it’s an online application they can’t assist me and gave me an ***4 once again no answer and it the same system as ***.

On the 22nd of November 2022 I got hold of a consultant at *** and they told me they to not have access to assist me, I must phone customer service. When I phoned customer service they also told me they could not assist me I have to phone ***. I phoned that number 4 times holding between 30 to 40 minutes waiting for someone to answer with no luck. My husband phoned *** and a consultant gave him an email address: *** to with I have sent the documents we received together with my information. I also took the opportunity to communicate my experiences to this point.

On the 23rd of November 2022. Have not received a response from the email I sent. Phoned *** and finally got hold of someone at after sales but they couldn’t assist me either but the lady sent an email and said I will be contacted. Also happening on this day my pro-rata debit order goes off for a contract if which I only received 50% of with unresolved queries, (at least one department in Vodacom that’s working).

24th of November 2022. Have not received a response from *** and have also not been contacted as told.
