The worst network in Africa

We held a contract with Autopage, recently there was a change to Vodacom for reasons I could care less about, we the customers were not contacted and asked how we felt about this change or given the option to terminate our contracts. And then the problems starts, the billing department at vodacom does not know about our monies paid to Autopage and therefore decided to lock our line. When contacting Vodacom about this we were not given any solution as to remedy the problem. (We did not ask for the change!) Now that I have had enough I contact the termination / cancelations department only to be told that I cannot terminate until December and that there is no other option. I insist that the operator find someone to solve my promblem and I politely get put on hold. More than 5 minutes later and I find myself having to give my opinion in a customer survey? Vodacom is the worst network in Africa, spare yourself the frustration in having to deal with them and deal with Telkom (8ta) instead, I have had almost 4 trouble free years dealing with them. I will be contacting ICASA and going to the papers about this issue, I will never deal with Vodacom again!

20 Hours later and still no contact from Vodacom. Why am I not surprised?

Now a year later and still no contact from Vodacom but we did find out that we have since been black-listed by this rogue company. I have phoned Clientcare myself on many occasions in order to try and resolve this matter and still did not get any answers or solution offered. My free advice to anyone thinking of using Vodacom as their network supplier... DON"T!
