The worst customer service that I've ever experienced

I went to Vodacom Clearwater at the beginning of January to cancel my contract (which was open) and to convert to prepaid. And I wanted to do a sim swap to a nano sim. The agent in store phoned the cancellation department to log the cancellation and conversion. And said the sim swap can only take place once this has been done at the end of the month, which was extremely inconvenient to begin with. I patiently waited until the 31st of January for the conversion to take place. Nothing happened. Phoned on 1 February to find out when this will take place and was told that my query can be seen in the queue and will be tended to shortly. Nothing happened. Phoned on 3 February again to be informed that my query no longer exists on the system. This is absolutely shocking and seems to me that someone isn't doing their job.

Today (4 February) I went to the Vodacom shop in Meyersdal where and extremely knowledgeable and helpful agent informed me that I did not need to wait an entire month to do the sim swap and the cancellation and conversion and that it can be processed within an hour from logging the request. HOW IS IT THAT ONE STORE'S AGENTS HAVE NOT GOT THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING BUT ANOTHER STORE DOES?

SO I AM NOW HAVING TO PAY FOR ANOTHER MONTH ON A CONTRACT THAT I DO NOT WANT ANYMORE BECAUSE OF *********** AGENTS AND DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE BEEN A VODACOM CLIENT FOR NEARLY 10 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER STRUGGLED WITH AN ISSUE THIS MUCH BEFORE.

I complained on the Facebook site and sent an email to an email address given on the Facebook site but received no communication. I have phoned and received no help whatsoever, apart from the one agent at Meyersdal. Vodacom is shocking and should my issue not be resolved soon, I will take legal steps. This is blatantly *****ing from clients and shows how little they care for their customers. I would suggest that Vodacom takes a good look at firstly the people that they employ as well as the level of training they provide to each and every store.
