The worst bungling by Vodacom & RAM Couriers

On the 23rd August one of my contracts with Vodacom was upgraded. A new phone was packed and handed to RAM Couriers for delivery to me. After more than 4 days of hearing nothing from RAM, I checked via the order tracking number, and realised that RAM had delivered the parcel back to Vodacom, and not to me. They had made no attempt to contact me or deliver to me at all. Upon receiving the parcel back, Vodacom, in their wisdom, did not even try to establish what had gone wrong with the delivery. When I called Vodacom to query the saga, first I was sent from pillar to post, before someone undertook to 'do something' about it. I didn't hear anything further for more than 2 days. I called again, and again I was given the run-around, and nothing happened. After a day or so I decided to call for the 4th time. After a long 'debate', it became clear that particular consultant and those before her, were either unwilling or incapable of resolving what to me is a very simple process failure. Today the 13th September, the issue remains unresolved. The phone is somewhere in a Vodacom warehouse.

Reviewer Update
A consultant from the Hello Peter Division at Vodacom called me on Friday morning the 15th September 2023. She undertook to look into the issue with a view to resolving it. She also promised to keep me updated on progress. As I write this today, Tuesday the 19th September 2023, I haven't heard anything further after that call four days ago. The bungling remains unresolved. The device is still somewhere in the wilderness.
