The vodacom and shaw academy shenanigans

on the shake up summer competition vodacom is offering participants free 4 week courses with shaw academy.

There is nothing free when shaw academy ask you for credit card details when signing up with them for the free course.

Unfortunately vodacom is a party to this.

I have already lost R798 x 2 by signing up for two free courses.

And I have been told by shaw academy that I signed up and agreed to their terms and conditions and thereby have given them indemnity to deduct charges.

This is ridiculous that vodacom even offered their customers something like this in the first place. Safeguards should be put in place to prevent partnerships where *******s like this take place. I feel that vodacom benefit in this relationship with shaw academy with some form of kickback for promoting their shenanigans.

I sincerely hope that vodacom who have put us onto this nonsense will assist with facilitating a refund from shaw academy and will not hide behind terms and conditions that no one reads.
