THE SHAMEFUL SERVICES OF VODACOM(plaint)

A couple of months ago my iPhone suddenly diplayed "NO SERVICE" where Vodacom used to be.
I eventually went to the nearest VODASHOP, where lengthy, uncomfortable hours, in a slow-moving store became a daily routine for me, just to find out that my iPhone had been blacklisted by them (Unjustly I might add).

I presented them with a signed affidavit, a certified copy of the original iPhone cash-reciept and also displayed the original packaging box. I filled in numerous "UNblacklisting" forms.
Days later, still no-one contacted me. How could they? Because of Vodacom my phone could neither recieve nor make calls. Countless more visits to the VODASHOP, resending the "unblacklist-request" materials...
And yet still "NO SERVICE". The Vodashop staff even gave me the number for their Accounts Dept, to try and clear up the issue. Expecting me to fix a THEIR mistake by making phone-calls on a phone that won't make calls. Ridiculous. But I managed to. Yet my efforts were still in vain and the issue unresolved.

I was under the impression that my device had been blacklisted due to it being reported as ******, but I eventually found out that Vodacom had blacklisted it due to "BAD DEBT". This was a shocking discovery, since I had NEVER had a Vodacom account. The simcard I used was a simple "Pay-as-you-go" number.

It made the blacklisting of my, rightfully-owned, device seem VERY *******, especially since the iPhone was purchased from an iStore, as proven with the reciept.
The phone was never sold through ANY Vodacom system, so it was NEVER their PROPERTY to blacklist.

Later I discovered that my iPhone's serial number had been associated to someone else's account.
CARELESSLY they mentioned that unless She pays her accounts, there's nothing they can do to unblacklist my device. I have even tried APPLE services, but they do not blacklist/unblacklist devices.
So, not only did they blacklist a device they never lawfully sold, but they also negligently connected it to someone else with bad debt and even with proof, they simply DENY to correct the problem.

I CAN NOT Comprehend how easily VODACOM can Blacklist a device (not sold by them) WITHOUT any valid proof, but can't unblacklist a phone with more than enough proof of property they need. Now I'm just stuck
with a very, VERY expensive mp3-player.

I am seriously disgusted with the whole situation. This is downright ********.

Ten days ago I posted the above complaint, ten days later my phone seems to be unblacklisted, because messages suddenly started rushing through. This was a very delightful surprise, I finally had my phone back.
Thank you very much for that response time.
BUT...
When I had purchased the phone at full price, it was RICA'd with a MTN sim-card, It worked perfectly, however I wanted to use my old pay-as-you-go Vodacom number, since The phone was NOT network-carrier LOCKED, as are ALL Full-priced purchased iPhones. Out of curiuosity I've tried some friends sim-cards to see today, and surprise, surprise... They don't work.
Did VODACOM somehow lock my phone's network-service provider options to stay exlusively on their network, even though the phone's first SIM-card was from MTN?
