The new year grinch....

Vodacom debited R 15 000 from my account on the 30th Dec - with no prior warning. They call this a "bill shock"!! Well they are certainly right about this. I was away with my family and called Vodacom's help desk - who were pretty pathetic to say the least. We rushed back to cape town and went to my local vodacom store - and the chap who helped me was perplexed as to how I was billed such an astronomical amount. I receive a monthly invoice vial e-mail - which I never open - because it's locked in such a way, that you need passwords etc. I am pretty consitent with my data and call spend - so I have not invested too much time trying to make the viewing of the invoices easier for me... Well up until now... The best Vodacom could offer was a R 10 000 rebate - in the form of a CREDIT... not even a refund.

They also have yet to a) provide me with an invoice and b) how they came to the amount of the refund (credit)

I am totally disgusted how Vodacom syphon money from their customers and then when they do, they offer a credit instead of paying me back the money... I am still waiting for a copy of the invoice and my contract.
