THE MOST *********** SERVICE PROVIDER I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH

In 2018, I got fibre with vodacom and after a couple months, I had to relocate. I contacted vodacom 1 month prior to me leaving, requesting that they move my line. I was sent a bunch of forms to complete and I was told it would be processed and moved within 30 days. Nothing was done and I called again to confirm, they told me there were some delays and it would be done soon. They continued to debit my account even though I did not have the fibre. Every time I called, I would be transferred from pillar to post and if I asked for an agent's name, they would drop the call. I can't tell you how many hours I spent and how much money I spent on airtime just to get this resolved. Eventually, I requested my bank to cancel the debit order because I'm not going to pay for something I'm not receiving. Vodacom was quick to call me after that. I explained the situation and as usual, it was getting escalated and someone would call me. Eventually they just stopped calling and I saw on my credit report that the amount I was owing them was changed to R0. I assumed that they just cancelled the entire service. So I changed service providers and never heard from them again. Now, almost 4 years later, I get a call from some attorneys saying that I owe R46 216.37 and I've been blacklisted due to non payment. I explain the situation to them and they say I must complete a detailed report of what transpired and sign it so they can send it to vodacom for an investigation. How many investigations are needed?????????? How many times must I take time out of my day to accommodate vodacom's lack of service? I am a very patient person but this is absolutely ridiculous, not only did you not provide me with the service I paid for but now you're asking for more money and negatively impacting my credit report by blacklisting me. It's like you're trying to ruin my life. I've worked in a call center environment so I know how things are done and I must say that vodacom has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and they know this. That's why they refuse to give their names.

Can someone from vodacom that actually knows how to do their job please sort this out and contact me, I want to move on with my life.
