The manager of as rude to me and even said I am drunk.
*Subject:* RUDE MANAGER AT VODACOM Queenstown Komani Eastern Cape UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR, NEEDS TO BE FIRED
*Date:* 27 November 2025
I went to Vodacom Queenstown Komani Brancj to sort out my mom’s closed account. They kept debiting her even after we settled the balance. When I asked the manager for help, he started shouting, called me names, and even claimed I was drunk. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. My mom is chronically ill and doesn’t need this stress.
*What I want:*
1. That manager fired and publicly apologized. 2. My mom’s account fully cleared with proof. 3. Compensation for the stress caused.
If not, I’m taking this to ICASA, the NCC, and every media outlet

Update: I received a call from someone at Vodacom saying they saw my post and are escalating my complaint. I’m not sure what that means — like, is it actually going to a higher level or what? I’m so happy they’re looking into it and will wait for them to call again with a feedback. If anyone knows how this escalation thing works or what I should do next, please let me know!

28 Nov 2025, 22:02Upon arriving at the branch, I was confronted by a staff member who displayed an unprofessional attitude. When I respectfully addressed her behavior, she promptly reported me to the manager. The manager proceeded to shout at me, falsely accused me of being intoxicated, and ordered me to leave the premises. Given that the office is equipped with surveillance cameras, I hereby request that Vodacom furnish the CCTV footage from that date as corroborating evidence of the incident.

28 Nov 2025, 22:22Just to clarify, the manager also insisted I needed a power of attorney. However, I was acting on my mother’s behalf with her ID and a doctor’s report, which should be sufficient. I’m requesting confirmation on why a POA was required when I already had the proper documentation.

28 Nov 2025, 23:19Honestly, the manager tried to shut me down ’cause he knew I didn’t have the Power of Attorney on me. But that just exposed how shady he’s being. I didn’t have the POA ’cause my mom’s sick and Vodacom’s debit order mess has already stressed her out — she’s been fighting this at the branch for ages. He was rude and insulted me, but I didn’t insult him back. I just smiled with a heavy heart ’cause I didn’t wanna seem like I was taking advantage of him being at work. If that’s how Vodacom treats customers, no wonder they’re losing loyalty.
