THE ********* VODACOM SET UP

Toward the end of 2018 I was preparing to cancel my contracts with vodacom. Vodacom's Telesales Agents kept harassing me to take up another contract with them. If you succeed in getting rid of one, there was another calling you to insist "that you take a contract with them". I finally relented and took another two contracts because the telesales agent told me that "my data that was not used up would be carried forward". All the way through 2019 they honored their end and my left over data was carried forward! This ended on the 01/02/2020, I called Vodacom customer care @ 17:51, and the call ended @18:10 +/- 18min 39 sec. For approximately 13mins I was put on hold, only to hear that Vodacom's policy had changed and they are no longer carrying left over data forward! ...But the reason I took the contract, was because of the data that was to be carried forward. I know that if I were to question further, they would say that "it app**** to my other data contract"...But with that as well I was told that "the left over data would be carried forward".....But the 10 GIGS doubled to 20 GIGS in the second month and it never increased beyond that!, |If I did use any data, all that happened was that the data I used was replenished back to 20 GIGS. IT NEVER EVER WENT TO 30 GIGS, because VODACOM have become *******. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years; it is sad that it has to come down to this. They win this round! It's a waste of time and energy fighting a giant like Vodacom, but in protest against their thieving, I will not renew my contract or take another contract with Vodacom. I just hope that they have the decency to tell their lying telesales agents "not to phone me".

People please be aware that Vodacom sets you up: 1. They harass you to take a contract. They don't care how busy at work you are, they phone and nag and nag and nag, day after day after day. 2. ...And when you take a contract with them, their telesales agents call you "offering you an unbelievably superior deal." If they cared about you, they would have given you the superior deal first; instead of giving you an inferior deal, and then when you are paying for that inferior deal, they call and offer you the superior deal. Professionals do it right first time!!
