The consumer being cheated again

How on earth can a supplier increase a contract price as and when they feel fit. A multi billion rand company like vodacom has ince again (the 2nd time in as many years has decided to increase their contract pricing, the are in breach of contract!! If i decided to pay less or cancel my contract before the 2years are up i would end up in court. An explanation please vodacom!! What gives you the right to change the contract conditions as you want to BUT im not allowed to.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.

Please note that we have done our utmost to keep the increase across our contracts as low as possible, and made sure that we have added value to your contract in the form of data or airtime.

Price increases are sadly unavoidable, given the circumstances outlined  in the communication sent to you.

We apologize for the inconvenience and the service experienced.

Regards,

Vodacom Consumer Website Team
